USGS National Seismic Hazard Model User Needs Workshop
The National Seismic Hazard Model Project (NSHMP) will be summarizing the 2023 National Seismic Hazard Model (NSHM) and presenting a preliminary future vision for the 2029 NSHM release. Day 1 will consist primarily of presentations as well as discussion and questions, and Day 2 will be focused on user participation.

The meeting location is located inside a secure building. Please bring a government issued ID and be prepared for security screening. Arriving to the building early is recommended.
Registration Information
Deadline for registration is Monday, September 9th, 2024. In-person registration is limited to 40 people per day. Once we hit that limit, you will be registered for virtual attendance.

Parking Information
The workshop will be held at the Geologic Hazards Science Center on the campus of the Colorado School of Mines (CSM). CSM provides visitor parking lots with a fee. Careful if parking on the streets of Golden, because many neighborhoods require parking passes. Ride shares and taxis can conveniently drop you off outside the building (1711 Illinois Street; Golden, CO 80401).
Transportation
The meeting location can be reached from the Denver International Airport, which is located approximately 55 km (35 miles) east. The drive takes 45 minutes or longer, depending on traffic.
Hotels
There are many hotels available in the area, including some within walking distance to the meeting location. For government employees and invitational travelers, note that you will need to consider flexible cancellation policies and the government rate for your hotel choice.
