USGS Workshop on the 2023 Alaska National Seismic Hazard Model
The Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) and the USGS National Seismic Hazard Model Project (NSHMP) will present details of the 2023 Alaska NSHM.

Workshop Summary
The Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) will partner with the U.S. Geological Survey to host a one-day, in-person workshop on the 2023 USGS National Seismic Hazard Model for Alaska. The workshop goals are to (i) summarize, for an earthquake engineering audience, the updates within the 2023 Alaska National Seismic Hazard Model (NSHM) and their initial dissemination to building codes and other users, (ii) solicit feedback and user needs, particularly for future NSHMs, and (iii) demonstrate USGS software and online tools.
