Earthquakes, January-February 1991
The first major earthquake (7.0-7.9) of the year was in Burma on January 5 and was the only major earthquake during this reporting period. The first earthquake-related deaths reported were from Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the USSR on January 31.
Earthquake-related deaths were also reported in France from the earthquake of February 13.
