Liquefaction susceptibility in the San Bernardino Valley and vicinity, Southern California; a preliminary evaluation

This report discusses earthquake-induced liquefaction susceptibility of alluvial sediments in the San Bernardino valley and vicinity, southern California. The study includes maps that zone the region into areas having high to low susceptibility for each of three scenario earthquakes: a Ms=8.0 earthquake on the San Andreas fault, a Ms=7.0 earthquake on the San Jacinto fault, and a Ms=6.75 earthquake on the Cucamonga fault.
