ANIA (Ver 1.0.0)
ANIA (Ambient Noise Interferometry Algorithm) is a Matlab based code that solves for relative changes in seismic velocity (dvv) in the subsurface using ambient noise. In particular, the code is tuned to utilize ocean noise signals to carry out such dvv calculations. The dvv calculation can be carried out for the subsurface between two seismic stations or beneath a single seismic station. The algorithm acquires seismic station data from the EarthScope Data Management Center and uses the doublet method to calculate dvv. The code has been used most commonly to track volcanic activity at active volcanoes worldwide. However, it can also be used to monitor other natural hazards (e.g. ground shaking due to earthquake activity; landslides).
