Code for Meta-analysis and review of catch-and-release fish mortality estimates

Catch-and-release angling in flowing waters is widespread, but estimates of how many released fish die afterward vary, and it is unclear how much of that spread reflects biology as opposed to how each study was designed and how long it watched its fish. This repository holds the single R script behind the synthesis addressing that question: it compiles published delayed hooking-mortality estimates for riverine fishes, describes the body of literature, and models observed mortality as a function of study design.
