Generalized Linear Mixed Models for Analyzing Wild Turkey Summer Sighting Data

May 8, 2025
Observation of wild turkey (Meleagris gallopavo) are collected by many state wildlife agencies to monitor reproduction. This code demonstrates how to use generalized linear models to account for when and where data are collected, as well as how to combine data from multiple states to estimate parameters when data may be missing in some years. In addition, the code shows how to test for a linear trend in reproductive parameters.
