Biography
I have worked for the US Geological Survey since October 2010. During my short time with the USGS, I have been on many surface water and water quality field trips, worked with several multi-parameter meters, and helped with the construction of gages and cable ways.
I graduated in May of 2006, with a BS in Biology and an emphasis in Fisheries and Wildlife Management from University of Arkansas at Little Rock. During college, I worked on an independent study stream restoration project for Coleman Creek and worked with the fisheries biologist with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission out of Camden, Arkansas, during a summer internship.
After college, I gained valuable lab experience during a two year employment in the lab at the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Research Institute.
Currently, I am a hydrologic technician at the US Geological Survey’s Arkansas Water Science Center, where I plan on finishing out a long, educational, and productive career.
