Darcee Killpack

Darcee works as the Deputy Director for the USGS National Geospatial Technical Operations Center (NGTOC), the operational component of the National Geospatial Program in USGS.

Biography

Darcee works as the Deputy Director for the USGS National Geospatial Technical Operations Center (NGTOC), the operational component of the National Geospatial Program in USGS. She holds a B.S. in Material Science from University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and a M.S. in Environmental Monitoring from University of Wisconsin - Madison. As the Deputy Director of NGTOC, Darcee provides senior level oversight for administrative support functions for the Center, including workforce planning and execution, administration and facilities support, labor-management relations, and training and communication. Ms. Killpack also manages the agreements and commercial partnership teams supporting the Geospatial Product and Services contracts and over $70M a year in awards. Darcee previously worked for the National Park Service as the GIS Coordinator for the Intermountain Region providing direct GIS support to over 90 park units in 8 states. She also worked for SWCA, Inc. as the GIS Director supporting the integration of GIS into environmental management, assessments, and analysis.
