Emily Imperato
Emily M. Imperato is a geologist with the USGS California Water Science Center, working in the Groundwater program area.
Emily's research focuses on water resources, particularly groundwater in sedimentary basins. She develops subsurface models of hydrogeologic systems primarily using borehole geophysics. These models include groundwater salinity, stratigraphy, porosity, temperature, and fault zones which help identify water resources.
