Heather C Miller
Heather is the Regional Quality Management Systems Manager for the USGS Northwest Pacific Islands and Alaska Regions. She works with Science Centers to determine the appropriate level of QMS support needed for laboratories in the Regions. She also evaluates and reports on the effectiveness of the QMS to incorporate lab and center management’s feedback into the QMS.
Prior to joining the Regions, Heather worked for the USGS National Water Quality Laboratory in the Metals and Carbon groups for six years. Before joining the USGS, Heather worked in molecular biology, microbiology, and water quality analytical laboratories.
