Ji Won Moon joined National Minerals Information Center as a Country Specialist in 2018, where he began mineral information scientist for Southeastern and Southern Asia region. He was a R&D Staff Scientist in the Biosciences Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory for 16 years. He received a Ph.D. degree in Earth System Sciences from Yonsei University in 2003.
