I grew up in the shadow of Mt. St. Helens in Washington State and had always had a love for the outdoors and environmental sciences. When I finally went to college (Sko Viks!) it only made sense when Geology revealed itself as a passion of mine. In my free time, I enjoy catching up on movies, knitting, sewing, and hiking. It's a goal of mine to travel more, use my film camera, and start reading more books.
