Paxton Bachand, PhD

Paxton is a biologist with the USGS Western Fisheries Research Center. His research focus is related to environmental stressors that affect aquatic health.  

Within the Hansen group at WFRC, Paxton participates mainly in research assessing the effects of stormwater pollutants 6PPD and 6PPD-Q on salmonids. He also investigates the effects of additional persistent environmental contaminants and pathogens on other aquatic species and human health.
