Texas LiDAR-derived StreamStats application now available
Texas StreamStats with new LiDAR-derived data provides an opportunity for improved accuracy of watershed delineations and streamlines.
The USGS Oklahoma-Texas Water Science Center (OTWSC), in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), has developed a LiDAR-derived StreamStats application to calculate peak flow statistics, in addition to delineating watershed basins and computing basin characteristics including precipitation, land use/land cover, soil permeability, U.S. EPA Ecological Regions, and impervious surface area.
