Water Availability in the United States

January 15, 2025

The Key Findings Interactive Website is an engaging and approachable point of entry for users interested in learning about the key scientific takeaways of the National Water Availability Assessment. The site uses interactive data visualizations and easy-to-understand explanations to make the results of the Assessment accessible to non-technical audiences. This exploration of the key findings supplements the comprehensive, scientific summary of water quantity, quality, and use in the National Water Availability Assessment report and the modeled water availability data served by the National Water Availability Assessment Data Companion. These three products are designed so that users can easily move between them, facilitating access to all the information and data from the Assessment.
