All NHD and WBD Update Jobs Checked-In before July 9
Update 8/6/2021: USGS has completed the testing of NHD and WBD Update Tools for the FTP to Globus migration. NHD and WBD Update tools are now available for download and job check-outs and check-ins can now resume. The Hydrography Maintenance Portal (HMP) is up and running after this upgrade. Please read and follow setup instructions outlined in the User/Installation Guides found on the HDC.
Which NHD Product Do You Need and Which Do You Have?
While there are several hydrography datasets containing the acronym “NHD” available for download, there are major differences a user can use to determine which is the best choice for their work and which dataset they have downloaded. More information on the similarities and differences in these datasets will be covered in upcoming newsletter articles.
WBD HU4 0109 Massachusetts-Rhode Island Coastal Updates
The Watershed Boundary Dataset has been updated in several areas along the Massachusetts and Rhode Island coast. Updates for this area are included in the latest version of the WBD data available via the National Hydrography Dataset website.
