High Plains Aquifer Groundwater Network High Plains Aquifer Groundwater Network

The High Plains Regional Groundwater Level Monitoring Network contains water levels and well information from selected wells measured annually by the USGS and numerous Federal, State, and local water-resources agencies.

Irrigation water use in Kansas, 2014 Irrigation water use in Kansas, 2014

This U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Data Release represents geospatial and tabular data on irrigation water use in Kansas. The data release was produced in compliance with open data requirements. The dataset consists of 3 separate items with similar attributes aggregated to different geographic extents: 1. Kansas counties; 2. Kansas regional planning areas used in the Kansas Water Plan...

Water-Quality Data for Nebraska Water-Quality Data for Nebraska

Chemical, physical, and biological properties of water, sediment, and tissue samples from Nebraska. Water-quality data are collected as either discrete field measurements or as continuous time-series data from automated recorders that continuously record physical and chemical characteristics including pH, specific conductance, temperature, and dissolved oxygen.

Groundwater Data for Nebraska Groundwater Data for Nebraska

Data from wells, springs, test holes, tunnels, drains, and excavations in Nebraska; well location data includes information such as latitude and longitude, well depth, and aquifer. Groundwater level data are collected and stored as either discrete field-water-level measurements or as continuous time-series data from automated recorders.

Surface-Water Data for Nebraska Surface-Water Data for Nebraska

Real-time, daily, peak-flow, field measurements, and statistics of current and historical data that describe stream levels, streamflow (discharge), reservoir and lake levels, surface-water quality, and rainfall in Nebraska. Surface-water data are collected and stored as either discrete field-water-level measurements or as continuous time-series data from automated recorders.

Nebraska Continuous Water-Quality Network on WaterQualityWatch Nebraska Continuous Water-Quality Network on WaterQualityWatch

The Nebraska Continuous Water-Quality Network is part of USGS WaterQualityWatch. This web site provides maps that track short-term changes in water quality. Temperature, specific conductance, pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, nitrate, discharge, chlorophyll, and surrogate data are available.

Nebraska Real-Time Water Quality on National Real-Time Water Quality Nebraska Real-Time Water Quality on National Real-Time Water Quality

Real-time computed concentrations of water-quality constituents such as suspended sediment, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus are calculated using ordinary least squares regression models. The results of these models, along with direct water-quality measurements, can be viewed here as time-series graphs, or downloaded as tabular data.

Groundwater Levels in the Equus Beds Aquifer near Wichita, Kansas, January 2016 Groundwater Levels in the Equus Beds Aquifer near Wichita, Kansas, January 2016

This dataset is the result of measurements of groundwater levels in the Equus Beds aquifer near Wichita, Kansas, in January 2016. Potentiometric surfaces are interpolated for the shallow and deep parts of the aquifer, and rasters of the potentiometric surfaces are included in this data release. Wells were classified as being screened in the shallow or deep parts of the aquifer based on...

Sediment Oxygen Demand Data for Eastern Kansas Streams, August 2014 through December 2015 Sediment Oxygen Demand Data for Eastern Kansas Streams, August 2014 through December 2015

This U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Data Release provides data collected from sediment oxygen demand (SOD) deployments conducted at eight stream sites in eastern Kansas during August 2014 through December 2015. Continuous water-quality monitors were used to measure water temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, specific conductance, turbidity, and total algae (chlorophyll-a and phycocyanin) at...

Surface-water data for Kansas Surface-water data for Kansas

Real-time, daily, peak-flow, field measurements, and statistics of current and historical data that describe stream levels, streamflow (discharge), reservoir and lake levels, surface-water quality, and rainfall in Kansas. Surface-water data are collected and stored as either discrete field-water-level measurements or as continuous time-series data from automated recorders.

Public-Supply Water Use in Kansas, 2014 Public-Supply Water Use in Kansas, 2014

This U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Data Release provides derivative statistics of water used by Kansas public-supply systems in 2014. Gallons per capita per day is calculated using self-reported information in the Part B: Monthly Water Use Summary and Part C: Population, Service Connections, and Water Rates sections of the Kansas Department of Agriculture, Division of Water Resources'...
