Lakewood Colorado USGS Science Day Workshop Location:
The meeting will be held on the Denver Federal Center in Building 53 (see map link below), in the Mt. Elbert conference room. Parking is available on the west side of the building near the daycare center. Walk east down the hill and slightly to the left is the main entrance to Building 53.

Important Notes – Lakewood, CO
- The Denver Federal Center is open to the public from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays.
- Lunch will NOT be provided; many food options are available off-campus nearby.
- Non-DOI users can join via a web browser and should also conduct system tests in advance.
Travel on the Denver Federal Center campus
Employees and visitors must stop and show identification, (i.e., government ID or a valid driver's license) to enter at all gates.
- Gate 1 Kipling near Alameda Ave. Lane 1 is for visitors, Lanes 2 and 3 are for employees. Lane 2 is the 24-hour key card access on weekends and after hours. Any weekend deliveries would come through Gate 1. Hours of operation are from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Friday. Gate 1 is the only gate open on weekends and federal holidays.
- Gate 2 Kipling and Center Ave. Employee access only and all deliveries are to come through this gate during the week. Hours of operation are from 5:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Friday. Federal holidays excluded.
- Gate 4 Union and Fourth Ave. Both employee and visitor entrance. No deliveries. Hours of operation are from 5:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
- Gate 5 Union and Second Pl. Both employee and visitor entrance. No deliveries. Hours of operation are from 5:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
- Gate 7 Alameda and Seventh St. Employee entrance only and no deliveries. Hours of operation are from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Quick Tip: DFC Buildings are named for the street in which they are located and run south to north. For example, Building 40 is located on Fourth Street closer to Main Street, while Building 41 is on Fourth Street and closer to North Avenue.

The meeting will be held in the BLM Conference Room.
Parking is available on the west side of the building on Printers Way or a few spots are available in the BLM Parking Lot. Please do not park in the spaces reserved for BLM Visitors. Enter in the Public entrance on the Northeast corner of the BLM Building.
