Carpentries workshops "teach researchers the skills and perspectives to work more effectively and reproducibly with data and software" (Carpentries, 2023). CDI began hosting workshops and training additional instructors in fiscal year 2021, covering topics such as Library Carpentry, Introduction to Python, Introduction to R for Geospatial Data, Shell, Git, and Python, and more. All meetings are virtually hosted via Microsoft Teams.
