On February 18, Secretary of the Interior, Deb Haaland, and Assistant Secretary for Water and Science, Tanya Trujillo, visited Geology, Geophysics, and Geochemistry Science Center Laboratories. 

Secretary of the Interior, Deb Haaland, and Assistant Secretary for Water and Science, Tanya Trujillo, visited Denver Federal Center Building 20 on Friday, Feb 18. They toured Geology, Geophysics, and Geochemistry Science Center laboratories following meetings and a press conference at the Colorado School of Mines about the new Energy and Minerals Research Facility. The tour of Building 20 was an opportunity to reinforce the importance of the new building and to highlight the cutting edge science the building will enable. The Department of the Interior Team was impressed by the visits to Sample Control, Spectroscopy Laboratory, and Denver Microbeam Laboratory.
