GLSC’s Owen Gorman (Ashland, Wisconsin) visited the Northland College job fair on March 30, 2023. 35 students stopped by to ask questions about GLSC’s fisheries work on Lake Superior and seek advice; 16 of them signed up for more information. Seven college staff from the administration and advancement offices stopped by to ask questions about the program and its history. According to Owen, “this was the best job fair I have participated in in more than 20 years.” So far, Owen has received two new applications for summer internships.
