NCEAS Environmental Data Science Summit

The theme of the 2026 NCEAS Environmental Data Science Summit (January 27–29, 2026) is Turning Data into Action: bridging the gap between environmental data science and real-world applications, especially in support of policy, management, and community engagement.
Applications are open until October 8, 2025.  Spread the word!

 

Translational Funding Opportunity

NSF’s Translation to Practice (NSF TTP) program offers a rare source of supplemental funding to put basic science to work in the world. ESIIL Working Group RFP

The Environmental Data Science Innovation and Impact Lab (ESIIL)  is accepting applications for its third cohort of working groups. Working groups play a pivotal role in promoting the integrative approach ESIIL champions, pooling knowledge and expertise from various disciplines to tackle environmental issues with a data-driven perspective.

NEON's Fall 2025 Science Seminar Series

The schedule for NEON's Fall 2025 Science Seminar Series is out! The seminars aim to foster a vibrant community of researchers at the intersection of ecology, environmental science, and NEON data. First up this Fall NEON Ambassadors will lead: "From Microbes to the Atmosphere: Research Across Scales from NEON Ambassadors", on Sept. 9, 12-1 p.m. MT.
