We are delighted to introduce Kathy Moulton, the newest member of the Powell Center team!

Kathy is originally from Maine and has a B.S. in Environmental Science with a minor in Geology from the University of Maine. Kathy worked for 22 years at the USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Horticultural Research Station in Fort Pierce, Florida as a Biological Science Technician. She retired in June of 2022 and moved to Fort Collins to live near her son and his family.

Kathy has always loved science, especially geology, and was intrigued by the Powell Center’s work with scientists from the U.S. and worldwide. She enjoys her work with the Powell Center for exposing her to the latest climate change research and keeping her actively learning new things.

Kathy is an avid hiker, gardener, and paddle board enthusiast – anything that involves being outside and in nature.
