Update on USGS National Wildlife Health Center Director
After 14 years as Center Director at the USGS National Wildlife Health Center, Dr. Jonathan Sleeman has assumed a new position with the USGS Midcontinent Region as Science Advisor for Wildlife Health and Ecology.
Dr. LeAnn White is currently serving as Acting NWHC Center Director during the recruitment for the next director. With Dr. Sleeman’s position change, the World Organisation for Animal Health has appointed Dr. Julianna Lenoch, National Wildlife Disease Program Coordinator at USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service – Wildlife Services, as the National Focal Point for Wildlife.
