USGS, in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, updated the Pennsylvania Drought Condition Web Tool.

The updated Pennsylvania Drought Condition Web Tool includes accessibility improvements to the colors used to indicate drought status, the position of drought indicator time series graphs - now separate from the map window, and a downloadable map and table.

Climate-region drought indicators include monthly Palmer Drought Index as well as new factors for Percent Precipitation compared to long-term average and Standardized Precipitation Index.

This latest version of the Pennsylvania Drought Condition Web Tool contributes to the USGS mission by providing timely, relevant, and useful information to the public and to water resource managers in Pennsylvania.
