June 2018 flooding along Elk Creek in Augusta, Montana

The USGS WY-MT Water Science Center provided discharge measurements and high water mark (HWM) flagging for the June 2018 flooding along Elk Creek in Augusta, Montana.

The HWM data are available on the USGS Flood Event Viewer.

The USGS also updated the peak-flow frequency estimates for Elk Creek. The peak-flow frequency data will be published on the USGS WY-MT Water Science Center Peak-Flow Frequency Analyses ScienceBase pages.
