1:3000 and 1:3600 scale aerial photographs of the Cleveland Corral landslide located near U.S. Highway 50, El Dorado County, California, 1997, 1999, and 2007

The Cleveland Corral landslide, located near U.S. Highway 50 in El Dorado County, California, is episodically active. This USGS data release contains scans of vertical aerial photographs used to map ground-surface structures and to generate multiple data sets of topography of the landslide over different years.

This data release includes three sets of aerial photos:
(1) frames 3C-1, 3C-2, and 3C-3, 1:3600 scale, B/W film, flown by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) on July 15, 1997,
(2) frames 1-1 and 1-2, 1:3000 scale, B/W film, contracted by USGS and flown on April 20, 1999,
(3) frames 1 and 2, 1:3000 scale, color film, contracted by USGS and flown on April 23, 2007.

These photographs have a nominal 60% overlap. Photographs are provided as higher-resolution 1200 dpi images in tiff format and as lower-resolution images in jpeg format for quick viewing.
