40Ar/39Ar geochronology of supergene manganese oxides in the southern and central Appalachian Mountains

This data release contains 40Ar/39Ar isotopic data for manganese oxides collected in the southern and central Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. Furnace- and laser-heated analyses of cryptomelane separates from 84 samples are included, along with sample site location data.
