This data release preserves an extensive archive of 15,475 historical (1918–2020) geophysical logs from wells across Texas, including over 10,000 collected during various studies and more than 2,000 donated records. The original hard-copy logs are housed at the U.S. Geological Survey Oklahoma-Texas Water Science Center (OTWSC) in Austin, Texas. Digitized materials are provided as zipped Portable Document Format (PDF) files, with associated well header information available in both comma-separated value (CSV) and Microsoft Access (ACCDB) formats. An ancillary python script for geolocating the digitized well logs, accompanying output tables and a summary text file are also included.
