Data acquired in laboratory experiments conducted to characterize Ag bioaccumulation kinetics in Daphnia magna after exposures to polystyrene microplastics and Ag nanoparticles

January 29, 2026

Microplastics (MPs) are an environmental concern. They can interact with other contaminants and pose new threats to organisms. We assessed the effect MPs on silver (Ag) bioaccumulation in the filter-feeding zooplankton Daphnia magna exposed to Ag nanoparticles at environmentally relevant concentrations.
