Elemental and biological characteristics of riparian spiders collected along streams and tributaries in the Clark Fork Basin, Montana, July 2023

This data release includes laboratory analyses for spider tissue samples collected from 20 sites in riparian areas along streams in the upper Clark Fork Basin in western Montana during July 2023. Samples were collected by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in cooperation with the University of Connecticut. Analyses include 56 elements, percent moisture, and nitrogen and carbon isotopes in spider tissue. This data release also includes information on the taxonomic classification and sex determination of sampled spiders, in addition to measurements of spider body size.
