Expert judgment data for Bayesian Decision Networks of Eastern Black Rail habitat management in the Atlantic Coast Joint Venture region
This data set was collected as part of structured decision-making workshops designed to build Bayesian Decision Networks of habitat management actions in wetlands of the Atlantic Coast Joint Venture region. The models were created as part of an adaptive management framework to reduce uncertainty about management actions. We used formal elicitation process for expert judgment where workshop participants independently created conditional probability tables based on two different conceptual models, one for irrigation treatments and another for applications of prescribed fire and herbicide treatments in wetland ecosystems. Following the workshop, we aggregated the conditional probability tables across experts for each model and used the aggregated tables to create Bayesian Decision Networks in probability network software.
