Genetic Data for Evaluating Morphology Use to Identify Hunter-Harvested Geese

This data release contains one table of genetic data (mitochondrial haplotypes and nuclear microsatellite genotypes) used to evaluate utility of two morphological measures (culmen length and plumage color) to correctly identify groups of hunter-harvested dusky (Branta canadensis occidentalis) and dusky-like Canada geese on wintering grounds within the Pacific Flyway of North America. Measurement data of the hunter-harvested birds sampled for this data release are not available as those measurements were not provided to the USGS.
