Geochemistry and mineralogy of the Josephine Peridotite of California and Oregon

This data release includes whole rock geochemical data from 33 samples and mineralogical data from 12 samples of the Josephine Peridotite in California and Oregon. Rock samples were collected in 2024 by Naomi Becker and Katie Tognotti. Whole rock geochemistry data were analyzed by contract lab through the U.S. Geological Survey's Mineral Resources Program at the Geology, Geophysics, and Geochemistry Science Center in Denver, CO. Mineralogical data are from X-ray diffraction analyses and Rietveld modeling performed at U.S. Geological Survey facilities of the Geology, Energy, and Minerals and Florence Bascom Geoscience Centers in Reston, VA. This data release contains the following files: Josephine_Geochem.csv, Josephine_MineralModes.csv, and Josephine_Data_Dictionary.csv, with associate metadata in Josephine_Geochem_Mineralogy_data_release.xml.
