Geophysical grids, horizontal gradient maxima and depth to bedrock of the Blythe region, California and Arizona
April 15, 2026
This data release contains (1) geophysical grids, (2) horizontal gravity and residual magnetic gradient maxima and (3) inputs to a gravity inversion of Cenozoic basin thickness based on gravity measurements of the Blythe region of California and Arizona. Gridded data (geotiffs.zip) consist of the input isostatic gravity grid as well as grids of Cenozoic basin thickness and bedrock gravity variations and the reduced-to-pole aeromagnetic anomalies. These grids are provided in geotiff format. These data and grids supported modeling of gravity and magnetic anomalies to understand the complicated structure beneath this region.
