Reproduction and locations of oaks in Yolo County, California, USA from 2013-2023

Oaks were mapped in a portion of Yolo County, California, USA. For 26 focal trees, acorn counts were conducted from 2013-2023. Trees were located in rural and urban areas. Rural trees were located visually and location was recorded. Urban tree locations were drawn from randomly distributed point locations at 1.2 valley oaks per hectare. The data also include distance between oak trees to estimate isolation.
