Respiration and Clearance Rate Data from Subadult Fatmucket (Lampsilis siliquoidea) at Two Different Temperatures
July 1, 2026
This data release contains respiration and clearance rate data collected from laboratory experiments. Fatmucket mussels (Lampsilis siliquoidea) were placed in sealed containers to determine their oxygen consumption and excretion rates at two different environmentally relevant temperatures. Mussels were then placed into containers with food to determine how quickly they consume 2-60 micrometer sized particles at different temperatures.
