Rio Grande chub and sucker habitat suitability in the United States and Mexico, 2012-2099

March 11, 2025
Scripts and data that make up the habitat suitability analysis used in the Rio Grande Chub and Sucker Species Status Assessment (SSA).

The scripts fall into two categories (as reflected in the src subdirectories):
1. Data processing to create Maxent inputs
2. Analysis and visualization of Maxent outputs

Datasets include:
1. Data used to create habitat suitability predictors, in the present and in future scenarios
2. Relevant geographic data (e.g. boundaries, flowlines)
3. Predictor information formatted for input into Maxent

Also included:
1. Maxent outputs from all runs used to produce the final results reported in the SSA. The details of each Maxent run are recorded in the logfile of its corresponding folder.

NOTE: This data release does not include occurrence data or Maxent batch files. Most of the occurrence data used in this analysis is taken from a database maintained by the states, that is not publicly accessible.
