This product is a dataset of volumetric soil-water content and soil temperature in an area affected by wildfire in the Boulder Creek watershed, in the Colorado Front Range, USA. The data contained in this archive continue through 7 years of recovery following a wildfire in 2010. Automated sensors (Decagon Devices, 5TE and 5TM) were used to collect the data at 1-minute and 5-minute temporal resolution at several depths in the soil profile. Sites where data were collected include burned (i.e. fire affected) and unburned sites with north-facing and south-facing slope aspect. Datasets of volumetric soil-water content and soil temperature are contained in files listed under Child Items.
