Southern Beaufort Sea Female Polar Bear Blood-Based Analyte Data, 1982-1985
January 8, 2026
This dataset is one table with data collected and derived from female polar bears sampled in Alaska's southern Beaufort Sea during 1982-1985. Collected data includes demographic information. Derived data includes blood-based analyte values determined from serum samples. Serum samples were analyzed in 1986 by Evergreen Professional Services (Bothell, WA, USA). It is believed that a multiple channel analyzer was used to analyze these samples, but detailed records do not exist to confirm the equipment used to measure these blood-based analyte values. This laboratory quantified values of 16 biochemistry analytes for the period 1982-1985.
