Tabular geochemical data from Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic rocks in the Lane Mountain area, San Bernardino County, California

This dataset provides whole-rock geochemical data for selected igneous, metamorphic, and volcanic rock samples collected in the Lane Mountain area about 20 to 30 kilometers northeast of Barstow, California, between the years 2014 and 2021. Data are reported for 231 analyses from 226 samples. Samples include Paleozoic and Mesozoic plutonic and metamorphic rocks and Cenozoic volcanic rocks. Data were determined by ICP-AES-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy-Mass Spectrometry) or ICP-OES-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Specrometry-Mass Spectrometry), and WDXRF (Wavelength Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence). Analyses were conducted under contract to the U.S. Geological Survey from 2014 to 2022; ICP-AES was used from 2014 to 2016 and was replaced by ICP-OES in 2017 to 2022.
