Tabular geochronologic data from metasedimentary rocks in the Lane Mountain area and Inyo Mountains, San Bernardino and Inyo Counties, California

This dataset provides geochronologic data for selected metasedimentary rock samples from the Lane Mountain area about 20 kilometers northeast of Barstow, California and the western base of the Inyo Mountains about 20 to 30 km northeast to north of Lone Pine, California. Data are reported for 2 detrital zircon samples from the Lane Mountain area and 3 detrital zircon samples from the Inyo Mountains. The dataset consists of two tables in comma separated values (CSV) format: (1) sample localities and lithology; and (2) LA-ICPMS (Laser Ablation Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry) U-Pb (uranium-lead) geochronologic data from a combined total of 598 detrital zircon grains.
