Time-lapse photography of Milford Lake, Kansas, June through November 2016
March 6, 2019
This U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Data Release provides time-lapse photography collected from six sites at Milford Lake, Kansas, during June through November 2016. All photographic images are displayed using a .mov common multimedia format. Time-lapse cameras were used to visually capture cyanobacterial accumulations and movement throughout Milford Lake, Kansas, at one-hour intervals from June 29 through July 20 then at five-minute intervals from July 21 through November 28. This dataset includes all time-lapse photography collected at six short-term, fixed-site locations as part of a study to evaluate the spatial variability of cyanobacterial harmful algal blooms in Milford Lake, Kansas.
