Water Temperature, Tide Height, and PAR Light Measurements from Izembek, National Wildlife Refuge, Alaska

June 16, 2026

Measurements of water temperature, tide height, and photosynthetic light (PAR: photosynthetic active radiation within the 400-700 nanometers wave band) are provided in four tables for monitoring the abundance and distribution of eelgrass in Izembek and Kinzarof lagoons of Izembek National Wildlife Refuge. These environmental parameters are crucial to the health of eelgrass ecosystems because these environmental parameters are drivers of habitat suitability and growth of eelgrass.
