Kelsey E Brennan

Kelsey Brennan is a Geologist with the Geology, Minerals, Energy, and Geophysics Science Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. She works on the geology of the Colorado River corridor as well as understanding bedrock geology and faulting in the Mojave Desert and Eastern California Shear Zone.

Kelsey Brennan majored in Biology and Geology at Whitman College and earned her Master of Science from Northern Arizona University studying Triassic volcanic rocks in pendants in the Sierra Nevada batholith in California. Since 2022, she has worked at the U.S. Geological Survey, improving bedrock geology of the Grand Canyon region and the Lower Colorado River corridor while working to determine timing of Colorado River integration. She also works on bedrock geologic mapping in the Mojave Desert and eastern California shear zone.
