Detailed Description
The Landsat Full Resolution Browse (FRB) Images Data Format Control Book describes the data format, the general algorithm used, and the compression methods used for generating browse images. FRB images are based on Landsat Level-1 products.
Images are produced in the Cloud Optimized Geographic Tagged Image File Format (GeoTIFF) (COG) or as a Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) file format.
