1-meter lidar hillshade imagery reveals a large blockslide above Craig Creek in Craig County, Virginia

Detailed Description
1-meter lidar hillshade imagery reveals a large blockslide above Craig Creek in Craig County, Virginia. Failure has occurred in a shale horizon within the
otherwise sandstone-dominated Silurian-lowermost Devonian interval. Large slides such as this one appear to play a role in erosional breaching of sandstone-capped anticlines in the region.
