10x Nomada eye

Detailed Description

New Lense set up! This is my first stack from a new lens set up that I learned from Johan Ingles-Le Nobel's lovely Extreme Macro layout. The simple version is that I have attached a 10x Nikon microscope objective to an old M series Pentax that I have modified to fit on my Canon Mark ii5D...seems to work great and you can nearly see right down the individual barrels of the omatidia. This is a Nomada luteoloides male from my backyard, by the way. More to Come. Photography Information: Canon Mark II 5D, Zerene Stacker, Stackshot Sled, 200 mm Pentax lens with 10x Nikon Microscope objective, Twin Macro Flash in Styrofoam Cooler, F5.0, ISO 100, Shutter Speed 200. USGSBIML Photoshopping Technique: Note that we now have added using the burn tool at 50% opacity set to shadows to clean up the halos that bleed into the black background from "hot" color sections of the picture.
