2018 Blue Pencil Award recipients

Paul C. Selmants (center, Research Physical Scientist, WGSC), Regan Austin (left, Geologic Map Editor, USGS Menlo Park Publishing Service Center) and Cory Hurd (right, Editorial Assistant, USGS Menlo Park Publishing Service Center) were awarded a Blue Pencil Award from the National Association of Government Communicators, receiving First Place in the Statistical or Technical Report category for USGS Professional Paper 1834: "Baseline and projected future carbon storage and carbon fluxes in ecosystems of Hawai'i".
